Prof. Dr. Mohamed Tolba is the X-Vice President of Ain Shams University; he is also acting as an IT consultant for different governmental organizations. Dr. Tolba was the first Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Ain Shams University. He has More than 130 publications in the fields of AI, Image Processing and Scientific Computing.

- Information Technology Advisor to the Minister of Education, Egypt (1988-Present).
- Information Technology Advisor to the Minister of Finance and the Governor of Central Bank, Egypt (1999-2006).
- Information Technology Advisor to The President of the Egyptian People Assembly (1994-1999).
- Consultant to different local and international organizations for IT. Leading different research projects in the fields of AI, Image Processing and Scientific Computing
