Chairman's Speech

Dear readers,

Since its inception, CIT has paved the way for the ICT industry to reach levels never before attained. With a dedicated visionary government ministry and a serious Federation of Egyptian Industries, CIT served as launch pad for the entire community. Ever since, the growth was phenomenal.

After nearly five years we take pride in the achievements made and look forward to more. Figures stated in this profile are not mere indicators of development, but a testimony of the effort exerted to enhance the ICT community’s performance, transparency, agility , and competitiveness .

Had it not been for a team with faith, the number of CIT members would not have increased from 67 to 310, representing more than 75.000 employees and over USD 1.5 Billion of direct investment. Serving such large and diverse community with different requirements and sometimes conflicting interests is no easy job, but can only be possible through dedication and transparency.

Our eyes are set on the coming five years, while the past five ones only serve as evidence that nothing is impossible with sheer hard work and planned action.

We look forward to meeting you in person to inform you of our plans , all based on cooperation with a diversity of parties m hopefully you will be one of them
